If you ask me, any time is as good as any to join the gym. But people tend to find exuses in everything. You might think that there is no point in working out in summer because, well, it’s summer. But if you think that this season is the most important time to have a bikini body at the ready, well, now you have at least one year to prep your shape to the next year’s summer season.
Why Join Gym In Summer
If you decided to make fitness a part of your daily life, do it now. Don’t wait for the summer fiesta to die down. First, of all you’ll have plenty of time to get yourself in shape for next summer, and then you’ll learn that no matter the season, results require consistency and discipline.
No crowds. The New Year resolutioners are gone by now and those who haven’t are just regular gym goers. So you probably won’t see crowds of newcomers lining up to every machine and squat rack in your nearest gym and will be able to work out in peace and quiet.
No bad weather. Summer weather may not be ideal for outdoor workouts but it at least can’t prevent you from going from one air-conditioned building to another. No snow storm, no black ice, no wind. You can also carry as little clothes as possible.
No pressure. The best thing you can do for your body is not get in a rush of shedding weight. First of all, if you don’t have all that much weight to lose you’ll lose the muscles you have and won’t like the look. Another thing is that fast weight loss will lead to sagging skin and finally, you’ll have enough time to figure out your goals and find what works for you in terms of diet and training.
