Belly bloat is an unpleasant condition you don’t want to deal with especially during some important occasion. It is uncomfortable and requires some time before it can pass away on its on. While beating bloat isn’t difficult, it’s always better to just avoid it altogether if you want to feel good.
Common Causes of Bloating
Overeating
Overeating is one of the most common cause of bloating. Swallowing too much food with too much air will make your gassy and balloon your stomach to much bigger proportions than it is in reality. If you overeat often it can surely cause further problems with digestion and extra weight.
Dairy
Dairy is another widespread cause of bloating, which is a common symptom of lactose intolerance in around 65% of world population. Good thing is you can pop a tableted lactase enxyme with each meal that contains dairy and feel nothing from it.
Beans
Just like in case with lactose intolerance beans contain carbohydrates (oligosaccharides) that some people cannot simply digest thus casuing bloating and gas. But it doesn’t mean you can’t eat beans, as there is a supplement that allows you to digest oligosaccharides (or you can soak beans overnight with baking soda to remove 90% of them from your beans).
Vegetables
Vegetables like broccoli and Brussel sprouts can cause bloating as well. Besides some of the fruits can do that too. Think apricots, grapes, and even apples.
Excess Air
Excess air can build up in your intestine if you swallow too much of it while eating or drinking or from consuming products like carbonated drinks and sweeteners.
